CORRECTIVE EXERCISE

2583 Gateway Drive - State College                                       Phone: 814-207-4336

It's time to take control of your life and get back into action.  Whether it's playing with your grandkids, getting back out on the golf course, or simply to live life with more ease. This is your sign that It's time to get back into motion!

Our main focus at Everhart is Corrective Exercise. It is a special programming that is set up in a way to thoroughly analyze the body and determine what your body may need in specific stretches and exercises so it can function properly. Many people start an "Exercise Routine" with no direction or even poor direction which could potentially lead to more injury or exhaustion. At ELSR, we set you up to meet you where you are at and what your body needs through an assessment. The assessment is a vital piece of information because most people start programs and are unsure of where their movement patterns lie. Some of these patterns could be shifting of the hips, improper mobility in the ankles/shoulders and so forth which can cause problems up the chain and lead to injury.  This thorough assessment brings these details to light so we can address the faulty patterns and set you up for better success.

We also work in one on one or small group settings so we can ensure we are watching your form to try to avoid unnecessary injury and to teach the body proper body mechanics. A proper program that has attention to detail will help when you are outside of the gym, because your body is more equipped to know what to do in everyday movements.

We also look back into previous Injuries or improper movement patterns to find Imbalances within the body. Imbalances can be caused by overactive or underactive muscles within the body and cause havoc on the system. These imbalances show up from prior injuries, repetitive movements, overuse of muscles, improper form during workouts or poor posture from the work day, among other things. We try to take care of these nuances to allow your proper to properly activate and get stronger from your baseline.

We at Everhart Life Sport Recovery use many modalities to enable your body to get the attention it deserves and to get you moving again. Whether it's on the green or to be able to ditch that cane, we got you covered.

“I’ve had many clients come in with extreme pain or told they couldn't do anything else to get better. Corrective exercise has been able to transform so many lives and we have been able to bust these myths over and over. Are you ready to see what we can do for you?"
