I have been training with Heather for a least 5 years. Prior to this time I had been going to a chiropractor at least once if not twice a week. Since I have been training with her, I haven’t had to see one. She is very observant and listens to me about my conditions and her Knowledge base of anatomy is amazing. She is very aware of the cost of personal training and provides group instruction to cut back the cost while giving an effective training program for everyone. I NEVER thought I would get off my cane, LET ALONE back to doing agility with my fur babies. The pain was to much to bare after having 2 knee replacements, but thanks to Heather I can now train with Deco and Thyme without knee pain and have gained confidence in my balance to get back into the ring.

Over the last five years Heather has helped me recover from a serious knee injury. The Ortho Dr said I would need to wear a knee brace the rest of my life. Well, after Heather worked with me for less than two months I am now brace free.
Three years ago I had a spinal injury and surgery. The neurosurgeon told me I wouldn’t be able to walk on my own. It has been a slow process, but Heather has helped me to walk. I have a long way to go, but with Heathers encouragement and skills, I will get there.

I enjoyed working with Heather and appreciated her knowledge as we progressed through a sequence of exercises that improved my balance and back alignment and greatly diminished pain/discomfort. Each session began with an analysis of progress that modified or added exercises, so that I continued to experience improvement in my daily life. Heather is very knowledgeable of her field and she was also very dedicated to seeing me improve.
By continuing the daily exercise program that Heather developed, life is again enjoyable. I have to limit the amount of weight I lift, but have returned to walking a mile or two each day, riding my bike, traveling and working on my hobbies.

Just back from a walk that included a steep incline that presented no problems for a change! Navigated it faster than usual and without pain. Also walked up the steep embankment from our backyard at the end without difficulty, again for the first time in a few weeks.

I have had issues with my knees for close to 4 decades of my life. I would fall after running short distances. I would have pain, sometimes even while walking. I relied on handrails for going up and down stairs. I had been to other health professionals, All of these were treating the symptoms; none looked into the cause --- until Heather. After talking to me about my symptoms, she had me walk 10-15 feet - and observed what was happening as I was walking. She determined what was wrong with my walking posture, and also worked to determine which muscles were contributing. Through a combination of stretching muscles, strengthening others, and basically teaching me how to walk, things vastly improved. She then worked on helping me to be able to run (for the first time in decades). She'd set me up on the teradmill, and then watch me from all angles, and also continually ask me for what I was feeling (what was hurting, what type of pain, and where). Based on that feedback, she'd either correct my posture, or else stretch muscles that were contributing. This feedback has been great in getting me to be more in tune with what my body is telling me such that I can correct myself. 2 years ago I could not run more than 100 feet at a time. Now, I can run over a mile without even fear of pain. Thanks, Heather!

For many years, my life was inhibited by constant neck and back pain. I futilely worked with a variety of chiropractors, physical therapists, and deep massage therapists who, on a good day, would only briefly relieve the pain I was experiencing. Since I have been working with Heather and following her plan my body has stopped acting as an obstacle to my daily activity. With her well considered programming and exercise regime I can now enjoy pain free days and nights. Everyday I am gleefully delighted with my new sense of well being.

Heather Everhart is excellent. Her training saved me from having serious heart damage after I was hit with a rare viral heart infection. If not for working out with her before that happened it would not have turned out so well.
